Threading is such fun and even the littlies can do this one. Make the tubes longer for older children and shorter for younger children.

You will need:
- Paper or plastic drinking straws
- String
- Scissors
- Scrap of green card and red paper
- Stapler
- Glue
- Marker

Step One:
Cut the straws into short tubes.
Cut out the shape of the snakes head and a small triangle from the red strip. Stick the red strip onto the snakes head.
Draw the eyes on the snake’s head.

Step Two:
Thread the string through one tube and make a knot to keep all the tubes on the string.
Continue threading tubes onto the string until the desired length is reached. Leave about 3 cm of string from the last tube and make a knot in the string.

Step Three:
Attach the head to the string using the stapler
You are done! Have fun with this slithering, slinky snake 🙂
